    A database of almost 500 walks I have undertaken from 2011 to present day. The database is searchable by mountain or walk name, partial name or simply a few characters of the name.

    Note:

    Although the database contains almost 500 walk reports, there are many mountains which I have only climbed once, there are also many which I have climbed multiple times. Each report however reflects the individual day on the mountain.

    What an amazing start to our walk, sunshine overhead, as can be seen by our shadows, a rainbow over the Ribblehead Viaduct and dark clouds over Whernside - Beautiful
    Approaching Blea Moor Signal Box - According to Network rail, this is the most remote manned signal box on the UK rail network

    Blea Moor tunnel, at 1½ miles long, the longest on the Settle to Carlisle railway
    The aqueduct carrying the stream from Force Gill over the railway line, an ideal spot for a short break

    Leaving the railway behind we now take to the hillside proper for the climb up to the main ridge of Whernside, now clearly visibe, the dull, low cloud having given way to bright clear skies
    Around the 500m height we make the final climb towards the main ridge at around the 650m height

    I make no apologies for the next four photos, all of which are of the Ribblehead Viaduct, it is a marvellous example of Victorian engineering and is quite stunning when up close to it
