A day for a solo walk, something that is rare for me these days. Nothing adventurous, rather I simply headed for my “go to hill”, Beinn Dubh for the exercise of a 600m climb and a reasonable short day in the hills.

A fine day was forecast, and so I left Luss early and did not see another walker as I took things extremely easy on the ascent and had the summit to myself for the start of my break. However, by the time I was ready to head back down others were beginning to appear, a few stopping, others passing right by on their way to Mid Hill. An easy descent, with the hill becoming a littler busier, but I was soon back in Luss feeling happy with my solo day in the hills.
